ICS opened a boarding house for students in grades 6–12 in August 2017. The main library sits above the Music and Arts Studios, and the Early Years library is in the Early Years building; the libraries offer fiction and nonfiction and library lessons are planned for every grade. ICS has three laboratories (Chemistry Lab A, Physics Lab B, and Biology use) and an Elementary science lab. The cafeteria serves Continental, Asian and local dishes; snacks for Early Years are delivered to classrooms and boarding students are served in the cafeteria. ICS runs a cloud-based ICT system on high-speed fiber with a backup radio connection and prioritizes network security. The sports department administers school sports and encourages participation through physical education and after-school programs.
ICS provides a school sports program overseen by the sports department, promoting participation and competition through physical education and after-school activities. After-school activities include soccer, basketball, volleyball, athletics, badminton, table tennis and swimming; teams compete in matches, leagues and tournaments with other international and local schools in Abuja.

The Student Council represents grades 4–12 and organizes school-wide events such as Nigeria Day Celebration, Christmas Programs, Sports Day, Book Fair, Reading Month, Poetry Café and Music Night. ICS offers after-school activities including soccer, basketball, volleyball, athletics, badminton, table tennis and swimming, plus keyboard, violin and drum lessons; Wednesdays and Thursdays are club days led by teachers and external leaders. A 20-hour-per-year community service requirement applies to High School.
International Community School Abuja offers an enriched American curriculum with Cambridge IGCSE, taught across Play Group to Grade 12. It is a day school with a boarding house opened for Grades 6–12 in 2017. Early Years programs cover Language Arts, Math, Science and African Studies, plus Music, Art, IT, Library and Bible/Moral Instruction, with weekly kindergarten clubs. Elementary, Middle and High School build on core subjects while expanding specialist classes and electives such as Drama, Psychology and Technical Drawing; language options include French and Spanish. In Grades 9–10 students prepare for the IGCSE O level before progressing to university admission worldwide. The school is accredited by CIS and MSA, with local Abuja DQA accreditation. Facilities include a main library above the Music and Arts Studios, three science laboratories, a cloud-based ICT system, a gym and a nurse's clinic. After-school activities, clubs and a 20-hour community service requirement support the program.
