Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. To register a pupil, the online enquiry form must be filled with the required information. The application fee is N50,000.00 for Nursery; N100,000.00 for Reception and Primary; and N100,000.00 for Secondary, with a temporary discount of N30,000.00. Payment is to be made to LPS Foundation Collection, FCMB 0640775099, and proof of payment must be included to complete the application. Two recent passport photographs, a copy of the birth certificate, and the last school report must accompany the registration. 2. Following confirmation of receipt, invitations for an entrance test are sent, followed by interviews with the child and parents. The registration process may involve gathering additional information during this stage. LPSS will also contact the child's current school directly for an official reference. 3. After the full round of interviews, you will be advised in writing if a place is offered to your child. 4. Once a place has been offered, registration forms must be submitted along with copies of an immunisation card, the international passport information page, and the transfer certificate from the current school. 5. A signed copy of the Parents' acceptance form should be submitted and an invoice for school fees will be sent. Full fees for the first term will then be payable and this would constitute a formal acceptance of your child's place. 6. Thereafter, a full term's notice in writing should you wish to withdraw your child from the school. The acceptance fee will only be refunded if this notice is given; one half term's fees are due in lieu of such notice. 7. Priority for limited places is given to siblings and then to parents who can assure that their child will remain at Lagos Preparatory & Secondary School for at least four years. Do not delay in submitting your application, as demand for places is likely to be high.
