Facilities Overview

Putney, Vermont is home to Landmark College's 125-acre campus. The Charles Drake Athletic Field is the main field, a regulation-size soccer and lacrosse turf field. The quad in the center of campus hosts softball and other activities, and the baseball field is three miles south with Major League dimensions. Indoor facilities include the Click Family Sports Center with a basketball court, lines for tennis, badminton, and volleyball, and a climbing wall; the Aiken Hall Fitness Center provides 24/7 cardio equipment and resistance machines. The Library offers print and online resources and houses the Landmark College Archives. A 17,000-square-foot Upper Campus Commons will expand space for student activities and events, with completion planned for 2026.

The Charles Drake Athletic Field is the main athletic field, a regulation-size soccer and lacrosse turf field. The quad at the center of campus hosts softball and other sports. The baseball field is three miles south of campus and has Major League dimensions. Indoor facilities include the Click Family Sports Center, which contains a basketball court, lines for tennis, badminton, and volleyball, and a climbing wall. The Click Center also features a cardio room with Peloton bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, and a rowing machine, and a weight room with free weights; the Aiken Hall Fitness Center provides 24/7 access to cardio equipment and resistance machines. Click Center hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday–Friday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekends.

Academic Facilities

Centers for Academic Support provide comprehensive and individualized support, with special centers devoted specifically to business, computer science, science, math, and educational technology. Academic Advising is central to the support system, with weekly sessions in the first year and increasing independence in subsequent years. The Drake Center for Academic Support offers online and on-campus academic support, including synchronous online assistance via Microsoft Teams for residential and online students. The Library provides walk-in assistance and one-on-one research support, and the Library building offers a welcoming space for study; the Library also maintains the Landmark College Archives. Additional academic support covers science and math writing, drop-in assistance, and executive function coaching as part of Landmark College's integrated services.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Outdoor Programs offer a diverse range of trips and activities year-round, including hikes, rock climbing trips, shuttles to ski resorts, and more. The Rock Climbing Wall is 32 feet tall and serves as the Classroom for the Introduction to Rock Climbing course. The Adventure Challenge Course features high ropes and low ropes initiatives to build leadership and teamwork. Campus Trails provide woodland paths for hiking, running, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing, and the campus includes a six-basket disc golf course. Equipment rentals include bicycles in warmer months and snowshoes in winter, loaned from the Click Center. The Stonewall Center provides educational, social, and supportive programming for the LGBTQIA+ community, housed in Frost Hall and featuring a resource library and related programming.
