Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Obtain an application form (N50,000.00) or complete an online form at lekkibritishschool.org. This initiates the admissions process. Ensure the information provided is accurate and complete. The application form is the first step toward securing a place at Lekki British School. 2. Submit completed application with the required documents. Photocopies of academic records from the most recent school are required. For Year 7, provide the final term report; for Years 8–10, provide the final term report and a character/behavioral reference letter from the previous school. Also submit a photocopy of the birth certificate, a photocopy of the international passport, and two recent passport photographs. 3. Decide when convenient to take the assessment and inform the school. The assessment will be scheduled after the application has been reviewed. Applicants should notify the school of their preferred assessment date. The assessment is part of the admissions process. 4. A brief interview of about 30 minutes conducted by the Principal with the candidate and parents in attendance (where possible) is part of the initial assessment. The interview assesses candidate suitability and family context. Where feasible, both the candidate and parents participate in the interview. 5. An offer of provisional admission is made to a successful candidate pending payment of the acceptance fees. The offer remains provisional until the acceptance fees are paid. Once paid, the place is secured for the candidate. 6. The acceptance fees have to be paid by the date indicated on the admission/offer letter in order to secure or guarantee a place. Only the first 60 Year 7 candidates who complete steps 1-6 successfully would secure a place. Payment of the acceptance fees finalizes the admission for those who meet the requirements.
