Meadow Hall School in Lekki, Lagos, established in 2002, is a co-educational day school serving ages 0–16. It delivers a British-Nigerian integrated curriculum that blends the British National Curriculum with Nigerian content. Core British subjects include English, Maths, Science and ICT, with non-core subjects such as ICT, French, Arts & Crafts, Music, History, Physical Education and Geography. The Nigerian Curriculum adds Social Studies, Religious Education and Nigerian Languages. The school prepares pupils for SATs at Year 2, Year 6 and Year 9, and for IGCSEs in Year 11. Meadow Hall emphasises spiritual development and differentiation, supported by a SEN department. It is affiliated with COBIS, ACSI and APEN. Facilities include science laboratories, a well-equipped ICT Suite, a Readers Digest Zone library, an Art Studio, Music and Theatre spaces, a 25m swimming pool, a running track and Astro Turf, plus wellbeing spaces and boarding facilities. Site-based curriculum blending the British National Curriculum with the Nigerian curriculum. The British Curriculum covers four key stages and core subjects: English (Literacy), Maths (Numeracy), Science, and ICT; non-core subjects include Information and Communication Technology (ICT), French, Arts & Craft, Music, History, Physical Education, and Geography. It prepares pupils for Standard Attainment Tests (SATs) at the ends of Year 2, Year 6 and Year 9 and for International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exams in Year 11. The Nigerian Curriculum is taught alongside the British Curriculum and includes Social Studies, Religious Education and Nigerian Languages. Field trips supplement learning and provide real-life application of knowledge.
IGCSE results: 100% of students attained 5A-C.
The U1 Programme (University Transition Year) with Trinity Western University provides the first year of undergraduate studies in Nigeria in partnership with Meadow Hall Education. U1 is a dedicated first year for global students and can lead to continued study at TWU in Canada or completion of the degree here before transferring. The program runs two semesters totaling 36 credits. It is not an ESL program.
