NTIC operates a scholarship scheme tied to the Annual National Mathematics Competition (ANMC). The scheme is for Senior Secondary students and aims to contribute to the educational development of society, strengthen the achievements of gifted students, represent the school and country in national and international competitions, and produce champions in external exams such as WAEC and JAMB. The 23rd ANMC Junior Guidebook explains that the second stage offers a full scholarship (tuition, feeding, and hostel) to up to six top performers and provides tuition scholarships to the next highest about 14 performers; awards are distributed at NTIC branches based on placement by the organizing committee. Final level awards include cash prizes for top pupils with accompanying prizes for teachers.
