Queensland Academy is a Nigerian–British day and boarding school for ages 1 to 16. It offers a blended curriculum that includes EYFS, Montessori, Cambridge Primary, Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge Secondary, and Cambridge A Levels, along with a curriculum. The secondary program follows a Nigerian/British IGCSE framework and incorporates Cambridge Checkpoint, WAEC SSCE, and BECE examinations. Founded in 1988 by Mrs. Adenike Lilian Akinyelure, the school began as Queensland Private School and expanded to Lagos campus at 1–5 Ebem-Oha Street, Okota, before evolving into Queensland Academy with a secondary section. The school maintains affiliations with the British Council as an Attached Centre and collaborates with organisations such as Africa Leadership Academy, AISEN, UWC, JAN, AISA, BBI, and APEN. Facilities include classrooms, science laboratories, art and design studios, a library, ICT suites, a food and nutrition lab, and hostels. Sports facilities include a sport ground and a swimming pool, co-curricular activities and excursions.
