Redeemer's International Secondary School was founded by the Apapa Family (Freedom Hall Parish) of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, now City of David Parish Victoria Island, on 14 October 1996. The church aimed to provide students with an environment dictated by Christian principles and values while offering an educational program that provides sound academic, intellectual, physical and social development. The faculty is trained locally and internationally, experienced and dedicated to the vision 'To make ready a people for the Lord'. RISS is an international school with a difference: one that builds strong Christians with zeal to positively affect their society. Our low staff turnover has produced a strong team, able to structure our curriculum to suit international standards and produce excellent citizens, combining strong Christian values with strict academic discipline to create well-rounded scholars, both intellectually and morally.
