Temple School is a private international school in Lagos, Nigeria, educating children from 0 to 18 across four campuses in Ilupeju and Ikeja. It blends the British National Curriculum with Cambridge programmes (Primary, Secondary, IGCSE and A Levels); AP where appropriate, alongside a bespoke curriculum. The primary section follows the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) for English, Maths, Science and ICT, with additional subjects including History, Geography, French from age 2, RE, Citizenship, Design and Technology, Art, Music and Physical Education. French is introduced early to support international perspectives. The school operates four campuses with a Sixth Form College offering on-site residential accommodation. Facilities include two 25m swimming pools, science and ICT labs, Design Technology labs, Art studios, Music rooms, a library, plus Cisco Teleconferencing and Live Video Streaming labs. Temple School teaches British Curriculum, Cambridge (Primary), Cambridge (Secondary), Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge A Levels, Advanced Placement (AP), Bespoke Curriculum for students aged 0 to 18.
Temple School follows the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) as the core for English, Mathematics, Science and ICT in the Primary section. It teaches additional subjects including Information Communication Technology, History, Geography, French, Religious Education, Citizenship, Design and Technology, Art, Music and Physical Education. French is studied from age 2, enriching the curriculum and supporting the international dimension. The Primary section comprises Key Stage One (ages 5–6+) and Key Stage Two (ages 7–10+). Assessments include Standard Attainment Tests (SATs) in Literacy and Numeracy at the end of Key Stage 1; CIPP progression tests at the end of each year in Key Stage 2; and Cambridge Checkpoint tests at the end of Year 6. Co-curricular activities include swimming, taekwondo and clubs such as aerobics, drama, debating and contemporary dance.

Temple College provides a Sixth Form College offering A‑Level qualifications and personalized guidance. Enrichment in Temple College includes University Preparation with University Placement and weekly advisory classes to help with personal statements and scholarships. The College hosts Education Fairs for universities in Nigeria, across Africa, Europe, the United States and Canada, and emphasizes Community Service and Leadership Training to prepare graduates for university life.
Temple School educates the whole child and nurtures mental, social, physical and spiritual development. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility in the school. A pastoral leadership team, including a Deputy Head (Pastoral), monitors the socio-emotional development of pupils. The Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy aligns with Lagos State safeguarding policy and is updated annually. The school designates a Designated Safeguarding Lead (the Principal, Adeola Arofin) and Assistant Designated Safeguarding Leads (Adurayemi Ipinolu; Judith Onowighose; Kelechi Oti; Ugochi Nnaji), with a safeguarding committee overseeing implementation and staff training.
An Exceptional Learners Coordinator provides support for learners with special educational needs.
Mental wellbeing is addressed as part of educating the whole child. A pastoral team monitors pupils' academic and socio-emotional development, led by the Deputy Head (Pastoral). The safeguarding structure includes a College Counsellor to support student wellbeing.
Temple School is committed to safeguarding and protecting children, with safeguarding regarded as a shared responsibility. The policy covers Safeguarding and Child Protection, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Anti-Bullying, Staff Code of Conduct, and Rules and Regulations for Learners, and aligns with Lagos State guidance. It defines safeguarding, child protection and related terms, and establishes a Designated Safeguarding Lead (the Principal) and Assistant Safeguarding Leads, plus a Designated Governor for Safeguarding, to oversee compliance. The Safeguarding Committee oversees policy implementation, including audits, staff training, and safeguarding reviews bi-annually. A Safeguarding Statement confirms an unwavering commitment to welfare.
1. Obtain the registration form and submit it before the entrance examinations. Registration forms can be obtained from any section of the school (Early Years, Primary, Secondary). Forms cost N10,000 for Early Years Foundation Stage and Primary, N15,000 for Secondary, and N20,000 for College. The submission must be completed before the entrance examinations, which will be indicated at the time of purchase. 2. Submit the documents required with the registration form. The following must be submitted: a current passport photograph; a copy of the child's birth certificate; the previous term's report card; a sample of exercise books for English, Mathematics and Science from the previous school. The benchmark to qualify for admission is at the discretion of the school. 3. Schedule an individual visit to the school. A visit to the school can be arranged for the prospective student and their parents. During the visit the student will be taken on a tour of the school and the parents will have the opportunity to speak with the Head of School and/or the sectional heads. Arrangements can also be made for the student to spend the day in the school. 4. Take entrance examinations. The entrance examinations take place in December and in April. Pupils seeking admission from Reception to Year 12 must take an entrance exam. Preschoolers are not given written examinations. Written examinations start from the Reception classes and test Literacy and Numeracy. Successful candidates may be invited for an interview. 5. Acceptance. Offer letters will be sent to the successful students. The tuition fees must be paid on or before the first day of the term. School uniforms are available for sale at the school's office. The medical forms are to be completed and submitted on or before resumption. 6. Orientation for new students. On a designated day before resumption, which will be communicated to new Temple families, students and their parents will be formally introduced to Temple School life and given the school calendar for the school year. The Meet and Greet programme at the beginning of each new session will enable the new students and their parents meet their teachers and members of management. The orientation helps families settle into the school community.
