How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Make An Enquiry. Read through VFMCG's website and call or write to the school for further information. This starts the admissions process. It provides initial details about how to apply. 2. Apply Online. Use the Online Application Portal to begin the application. The link is in the Admissions section. Submit the form as instructed. 3. Visit Us. Take a tour of the facilities and ask questions. You can also book a Skype appointment if you are unable to visit. 4. Apply. Pick up a registration form from the school office (₦15,000 per form). Return the completed form with two passport photographs, a birth certificate copy, and copies of three years of school reports. Forms can be sent by email after payment; downloaded forms can be returned by email. 5. Take The Entrance Exam. The entrance examination will be held at the school on Saturday, 27 February 2021, and may be taken online. The exam has three parts: English, Numeracy and General Knowledge. Arrangements can be made to take the exam in your city if travel to Lagos is not possible. 6. Attend The Interview. After the exams are graded, you will be invited for a personal interview. The interview is part of the admissions process. The outcome informs enrolment. 7. Enrol. At the end of a successful interview, you are offered admission and a fee schedule. Pay the acceptance fee to secure the place in the desired class. Enrollment completes the admission.

Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls is a Nigerian girls' secondary school with boarding facilities for ages 10–16. Established on January 8, 1991 by Chief Dr (Mrs) Leila Fowler, MFR, it offers Cambridge IGCSE with a bespoke curriculum to prepare girls for university life in Nigeria and abroad. The school provides a holistic education with academics and co-curriculars. STEAM programmes, including Robotics and Coding, develop technical skills, while Chess, Scrabble, Girl Guides and Red Cross foster strategic thinking, teamwork and service. A range of sports enhances learning, and facilities include Chemistry laboratories, an ICT hub, a Basic Technology workshop and a Robotics program. Art & Culture, Clothing & Textile and Home Economics facilities support creative and practical learning. Boarding life is well managed, with hostels, indoor games and a supervised routine of siesta, prep and recreation. Excursions and the International Festival Cultures of the World enrich the curriculum; Performing arts include drawing, painting, digital art, photography, music and dance.
