The IB Diploma Programme at Bjørnholt is taught in English. The program offers a broad range of disciplines, and students select three to four subjects to study at a deeper level. It is a public program with no tuition fees for Oslo residents, and the class sizes are small with teachers who have substantial IB experience. IB Diploma Programme students go on to study at universities in Norway and abroad.
Bjørnholt offers an International Bilingual Class (IBC). Teaching is conducted in English and Norwegian. The IBC follows the ordinary curricula, and students take the Norwegian final exam at the end of the 10th grade. Admission requires strong Norwegian and English, and the program serves students primarily from Søndre Nordstrand and surrounding areas.
Bjørnholt videregående skole is a public upper secondary school in Oslo, part of the city's municipal education system. The campus offers Studiespesialisering (general studies) and vocational programs, including Information Technology and Media Production, Electronics and Data Technology, and drone subjects. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is offered and taught in English, with admission open to Oslo residents at no IB fees, and small class sizes guided by IB-qualified teachers. On-site facilities include Deichman Bjørnholt, a combined school and public library, and NoMa Norsk og Matte, a learning center offering Norwegian and mathematics support. The campus also features a drone hall and flight simulator, a school garden as part of Grønn skole, and Bjørnholthallen for sport.
