Young Coderz Coding club specializes in programming, robotics and electronics for students from PYP3 and above. PYP3–5 will be learning game programming using Scratch, robotics and microcontrollers; Year 6 and above will be learning Python programming and website development. I'M A MUSICIAN is a private music academy collaborating with BISS Sentrum to provide tailored music lessons. The school offers piano, singing, guitar/electric guitar and violin. Lessons are after school and take place at BISS Sentrum; lessons are one-on-one and can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
The French Club promotes French learning and fluency among young native speakers of the Stavanger area. Certified teachers offer weekly courses in small groups. In addition to after-school activities, the club organises gatherings and cultural events showcasing the diversity of the French-speaking world.
1st Stavanger Scout Group, British Scouting Overseas, is based at BISS and uses BISS Gausel's facilities for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. We meet on Thursday evenings and also run weekend camping events. Activities include navigation and orienteering, kayaking, camping and shelter-building, pioneering, fishing and outdoor cooking.

The Scout group's programme is geared toward developing life-skills and leadership among its participants; volunteers and parents help run sessions and activities. The programme includes outdoor leadership activities such as navigation, camping and team-based projects.
PUMA's Taekwon-do Club runs four classes on Wednesday for juniors (ages 7+) and seniors (age 12+), promoting self-confidence, self-awareness and overall fitness. Little PUMA's for ages 4–7 teaches respect, self-control and confidence through activity-based learning.
BISS is an IB World School with three campuses serving ages 1 to 16 in Stavanger, Norway. Preschool operates at Gauselbakken 105, while BISS Gausel (Primary & Secondary) is at 107 and BISS Sentrum (Primary & Secondary) at Tanke Svilands gate 73. The school offers the IB Continuum, with the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) on the Gausel and Sentrum campuses, and a Diploma Programme (DP) for older students. English is the language of instruction across the IB programmes, while Norwegian is integrated across the curriculum in both primary and secondary levels, with national testing at PYP5, MYP2 and MYP3. Preschool follows the Norwegian Framework Plan and supports English development in a multilingual environment. Learning is inquiry-based and aims to foster intercultural understanding and international mindedness. The school operates as an international day school, originally founded in 1977 and restructured in 2019 into three campuses.
