Kristiansand Katedralskole Gimle is a state secondary school in Kristiansand, located at Jegersbergveien 1 within Gimle idrettspark. The campus includes Gimlehallen, a turnhall, a sandvolleyball hall and the KKG buildings, with library facilities (KKG biblioteket) and an auditorium for events. The school offers a two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) and a preparatory Pre-IB in VG1, emphasizing internationalization. Pre-IB follows the standard VG1 curriculum with bilingual mathematics and bilingual science teaching; some subjects such as geography and social studies may be taught in English, and biology, IT, or physics may be available at VG2 level. Most Pre-IB students continue to the IB DP, while others pursue Studiespesialisering. Idrettsfag (Sports Studies) with Topsport (TiA) expands sport options; vocational pathways include Yrkesfaglig fordypning and Salg service reiseliv. In 2010 KKG became Vest-Agder's first IB Diploma Programme school. The campus hosts international partnerships and Erasmus+, and Eco-Lighthouse sustainability measures support students today.
