Facilities Overview

Manglerud International Classes is housed within Manglerud skole, a public primary school in Oslo, located at Plogveien 22. Extra-Curricular Activities

Manglerud skoles kor is open to students from 2nd grade and up; rehearsals take place on Fridays in the music room (basement, Building A) from 14:00–14:45 for 4th grade and up and 14:45–15:30 for 2nd–3rd grade; the choir has performed at concerts and school events. Sign-up is via the provided link and the fee is 800 NOK per semester with a sibling discount. Manglerud Skole – International Classes is a public IB program in Oslo offering an English-language curriculum for students aged 6–16. It houses the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for Grades 1–6 and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Grades 7–10, with IB authorization in 2019 (PYP) and 2023 (MYP). Instruction emphasizes inquiry-based learning, with a six-year PYP Programme of Inquiry; the MYP covers eight subjects in Years 7–9 and six in Year 10, and a foreign language is required in Years 8–10. In Year 10, core subjects include Mathematics, Humanities, English Language and Literature, Arts (Music and Visual Arts), Integrated Sciences, and Norwegian Language Acquisition, with continued study of French/Spanish/German.
