ABIS offers an extensive activities programme that extends learning beyond the classroom. The programme includes Eco Club, Model United Nations, and Community Action Service (CAS) / Service Activities (SA). There is a large range of after-school activities provided free of charge, including dance, soccer, maths extension, and model making. ABIS students participate in Model United Nations events in Muscat, Qatar, and as far as St. Petersburg.
ABIS provides arts and creative opportunities through dedicated facilities, including a Mazoon Hall Theatre, a Music Area, and dedicated art and music rooms. The presence of a state-of-the-art auditorium and multiple performance spaces supports school productions and arts activities beyond class time. Students have access to visual arts, music, and drama activities as part of the campus facilities. The theatre hosts school events and performances, complementing the IB arts focus.
Arabic as Additional Language (AAL) is offered to ABIS students. Model United Nations provides cross-cultural exposure, with ABIS students attending events in Muscat, Qatar, and St. Petersburg. Oman Week offers age-appropriate experiences to learn about Oman's traditions, history, and future.
