A'Soud Global School opened in September 2016 in Seeb, Muscat, as a British-curriculum international school serving students from about age 3 to 17, starting its first academic year with 171 students. In 2018, A'Soud Education was established as the group's parent company, under Al Tamman Holding and English Education Management Company (EEMC). AGS Muscat is governed by a board of governors, with the principal acting as Director of Education; the leadership team includes Damon Hewson as Principal and Mona Al Adawi as General Manager. The group expanded beyond Muscat with the opening of A'Soud Global School Duqm in September 2019. AGS has received accreditations including COBIS Candidate Member status, a Very Good rating from the Ministry of Education, and affiliation with British Schools in the Middle East.
AGS Muscat has a diverse international student body with students from over sixty nationalities. The school offers a robust program of extra-curricular activities through internal and external providers, including Juventus Academy Oman, Muscat Gymnastics, Aim High Sports, and Tynker Tech. Parent communication is provided via email, a parent portal, and regular newsletters; parent-teacher meetings are part of the school's approach. The school publicly reports student achievements and events, such as Cambridge IGCSE and A Level results celebrations in 2024.
A formal Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is not published as a separate entity on AGS Muscat's public pages. Nevertheless, parent involvement is supported through formal communication channels, including an email-based circulars system, a parent portal, and school newsletters.
