Indian School Nizwa's Thymsa campus offers spacious classrooms, dedicated science laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and a computer laboratory. A large canopied assembly area and a playground with a multipurpose court support outdoor gatherings and physical activity, and a multipurpose hall serves events and indoor activities. IT-based learning is backed by a computer laboratory with broadband Internet. Indoor games such as chess, caroms and table tennis are also available on campus.

Performing Arts activities cover dance, theatre and art & craft. The school also organizes events such as Yoga Day, Earth Day, Reading Week, Environment Day, UN Model Assembly, Teachers' Day, Children's Day, as well as various quizzes and Olympiads.
The school is a co-educational English-medium CBSE school established in 1990 and located at Thymsa on the Muscat–Ibri road (Route 15). It serves pre-primary through senior secondary levels and has facilities such as science and computer laboratories and a library. The campus moved to Thymsa in 2011 and serves students from multiple nationalities.
