It was founded in 1989 to serve the children of the expatriate Indian community and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, under affiliation number 6130009. The campus is well landscaped and includes an artificial turf playground, a roofed stage with lighting and sound, and a multi‑purpose hall.
