Facilities Overview

Pakistan School Nizwa has served expatriate communities since 1994. The elementary classrooms are bright and stimulating spaces for learning. A well-equipped library was inaugurated on March 23, 2015. The Centre for Special Education was established in 2012. The campus includes well-designed Science Labs and ICT Labs, a school mosque, vast playgrounds for outdoor sports, and a large multipurpose auditorium named Dr. A.Q. Khan Hall, which seats over 700 and hosts functions and indoor games.

Sports Facilities

Playgrounds are vast and available for outdoor sports such as cricket, football and athletics. The auditorium, Dr. A.Q. Khan Hall, also serves as a venue for indoor games and functions.

Academic Facilities

Elementary classrooms are bright and vibrant spaces for learning. The Pakistan School Library is well-equipped, inaugurated on March 23, 2015. Science Labs are well-designed to support experiments and academic achievement. ICT Labs provide access to online resources for independent research. The Centre for Special Education (CSE) was established in 2012 to support differently-abled learners.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Student Career Counseling Programmes (SCCP) provide career counseling through seminars, exhibitions and career fairs. The school also has a campus mosque for prayers.

Pakistan School Nizwa opened in 1994 to serve more than 12 expatriate communities in Oman. It is part of the Pakistan Schools Oman network and provides education to international communities at affordable costs. The school teaches in English and Urdu is taught as a subject. The curriculum includes FBISE (Federal Board, Pakistan) and Cambridge International Examinations (IGCSE/CAIE, including AS/A2 Levels). The campus offers a library (inaugurated March 23, 2015) and a Centre for Special Education (established in 2012). The main campus for this branch is located in Hay Athurath North, Nizwa. A school bus service is available with two-way and one-way options and corresponding fees. The school emphasizes hands-on, activity-based learning and parent partnership.
