Activities are undertaken in response to the teaching of values and the school's philosophy, which instructs students to be active and supportive members of the community and contribute to the world's betterment. Students actively participate in charities and projects of social interest, such as Fanlyc and Operación Sonrisa, Good Deeds Day, medical tours, beach cleanups, reforestation, and rehabilitation of birds of prey. The school fosters a respectful and supportive climate among students, teachers, and collaborators. It hosts a diverse community with more than 20 nationalities living together in harmony while preserving Panamanian identity. This values-based approach supports students' social and emotional development and their commitment to service.
The school teaches four languages: Spanish as the mother tongue plus English, French, and Hebrew. The English and French languages are measured through international tests such as Cambridge English and DELF, which are based on the Common European Framework. DELF diplomas are the official internationally recognized French diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of National Education, supporting international mobility in higher education and the profession. DELF testing in Panama is conducted by Alliance Française de Panama and David, the authorized centers in Panama. The Cambridge English and DELF exams are used to assess learners at different stages, including the younger years as described in the school's language program.
The school promotes a respectful and supportive coexistence among students, teachers, and collaborators, reflected in a warm and personalized environment. The Head of School emphasizes a four-language program and a diverse community with over 20 nationalities living in harmony. The mission calls for growing in values, becoming global citizens, and providing students with tools for life. Service, debates, and competitions are part of school life, reinforcing social responsibility and personal development. This approach supports mental and social wellbeing by fostering inclusive, collaborative learning and leadership.
