Academic and Intellectual

The school has a debate program for MYP students, with national and international conferences in the Model United Nations style; CasMUN is organized annually. The debate team began in 2017 with four students and one teacher, and has grown since. A robotics workshop is offered as part of STEM extracurricular activities. The school is bilingual with about 16 hours of English per week, and English-taught MYP courses include World History, Science, and Social Studies.

Arts and Creative

Students explore expression through music, visual arts, theatre, and dance, with programs including Big Band, Street Band, Visual Arts, Drama, Music, and Dance. It also offers a robotics workshop, theatre, and a debate workshop as part of the arts program. The arts program supports student creativity and performance opportunities through a variety of artistic disciplines.

Cultural and Language

The school is bilingual in English and Spanish. From Grade 6, students may choose between French or Mandarin Chinese, with official certifications DELF (Diplôme d'études en langue française) and the YCT/HSK (Chinese proficiency). The school offers Cambridge English Qualifications; DELF/DALF; and HSK. It promotes intercultural learning through International Exchanges and a Language Week, as well as university fairs to explore options.

Social and Hobbies

After School Casuarinas provides afternoon workshops in academics, sports, and arts, designed to extend learning beyond class time. The school also runs Summer Panthers Club for Grades 1–9 and Summer Kids Club for ages 3–6, with activities ranging from wellness to creative projects. Afternoon programs include a variety of activities such as chess, table tennis, music, dance, and art, designed to foster creativity and collaboration.

The IB Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) program drives social responsibility, with campaigns on global development goals, CAS projects, Christmas campaigns for vulnerable communities, NGO partnerships, and direct service to Pamplona Alta. Activities include campaigns, service learning, and partnerships designed to help students become engaged citizens.

Leadership and Professional

The debate program includes CasMUN, with students representing countries at national and international conferences. The school also lists international leadership and cultural exchange opportunities, including leadership camps in Canada, England, and the United States, as well as cultural exchanges with the Netherlands/France, Sweden, Georgia, and Turkey.

Casuarinas International College is a private international school in Peru serving learners from ages 3 to 18.
