The Alpamayo campus is located at Bucaramanga 145 Mayorazgo, Lima, Peru, with the PreSchool campus at Av. Pío XII 383 in Surco. The school features a modern and spacious chapel, with two chaplains who provide spiritual care. A Psychopedagogical Department supports students through assessments, emotional development, and collaboration with families. The PreSchool and main campus offer spaces for language, arts, and general learning. Summer programs include English immersion, computer-lab sessions, and outdoor activities.
All students participate in physical education; the school has a tradition of successful sports teams. After-school sports academies operate after the day ends, from 3:45 to 5:00 pm, in swimming, football, basketball, athletics, chess, and ping pong. Alpamayo teams regularly compete in national and international tournaments. The sports program emphasizes character, leadership, teamwork, and fair play.
Our bilingual program enables courses taught in English and features a curriculum including Language Arts, Numeracy, Integrated Science, Social Studies, Music, Visual Art, IT, and the Extended Essay. The Diploma Programme is offered in grades 10 and 11 with a bilingual Diploma option; students can earn direct university admission and subject convalidations. The school provides a six-subject IB framework with groups including Language and Literature, Languages, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, and Arts or Electives. The Arts are taught through Visual, Dramatic, Music, and Dance offerings, and the school provides a Psychopedagogical department to support student learning and development.
After-school activities include sports academies in swimming, soccer, basketball, athletics, chess, and ping pong. The Arts are integrated through an Arts program in visual, dramatic, music and dance. The Kinder program features the Club de los Súper Amigos, a space in the psychopedagogical department for emotional and social skills. The Summer Programs include English immersion activities such as My Science Project, games, karaoke, video sessions, computer-lab sessions, and field trips.
Colégio Alpamayo is a male-only Catholic school in Lima, Peru, offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) for grades 10 and 11, with a bilingual option including at least two English-taught Higher Level subjects such as History.
