International exchanges and trips provide English-language immersion experiences. Since 1998, students prepare for Cambridge English proficiency tests, and since 2011 for the English B certificate of the International Baccalaureate, with a bilingual Diploma option for the IB. Over the years, exchanges with English-speaking countries such as Ireland and the United States have occurred, and more destinations are being explored to suit families. In these trips, students are immersed in English-speaking language and cultural communities with a clear intercultural focus.
Colégio Alpamayo is a male-only Catholic school in Lima, Peru, offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) for grades 10 and 11, with a bilingual option including at least two English-taught Higher Level subjects such as History.
