Academic Competitions and Events Program promotes learning outside the classroom and develops soft skills through a selective training process led by Prescott teachers. Prescott has participated in over 60 local, national and international competitions, achieving top results such as First Place at the British English Olympics (2019) and a Campus Winner award; national successes include First Place at ESAN (2018) and Second Place at CNDE (2019). Prescott also organizes and participates in competitions such as Arequipa MUN Prescott, MOGAP and the ACE Competition (2024 Second Place), and hosts public-speaking and English-language initiatives like TED World and TED Ed Prescott Club.
Houses Program includes participation in artistic activities.
Cultural Trips provide a complete travel program designed to meet academic and formative aims, with grade-level itineraries such as 7th grade Lima: Lima's republican and vice-royal legacy; 8th grade Cuzco; 9th grade Ica, Nazca and Paracas; 10th grade Northern Peru (Trujillo and Chiclayo); and 11th grade The Peruvian Jungle, Iquitos.
Caring Prescott organizes community campaigns led by students, including Let's Help Another Child to Study; Kilo Day; Warm Clothes Campaign; Operation Smile; Missionary Campaign; Christmas Campaign; and From Plastic Caps to Wheelchairs.
Houses Program promotes community, belonging, identity, leadership, integration and teamwork, with four Houses that include all members of the Prescott community and provide opportunities for participation and fair competition.
The Sports program provides sessions across Chess, Track, Basketball, Gymnastics, Soccer, Tennis, Table Tennis, Swimming and Volleyball, complemented by health and wellness topics such as nutrition, hygiene and body care; the program fosters teamwork, discipline, and various personal strengths.
Prescott is a private day school in Arequipa that delivers the International Baccalaureate continuum from early childhood to pre-university. Preschool through High School participate in the IB continuum: PYP for Preschool to 5th, MYP for 6th to 9th, and DP for 10th to 11th. The school educates students aged 3 to 17 and places inquiry, reflection and active inquiry at the heart of learning. A Cambridge Center authorized to offer Cambridge assessments expands the options for qualifications alongside IB. The campus has 61 years of operation, with 1,367 students and 210 teachers and staff across Preschool, Elementary, Middle and High School. Facilities include outdoor volleyball and basketball courts with polyurethane floors, a ceramics workshop, and a Media Center. Prescott offers after-school activities, cultural trips, and service campaigns, plus a Houses Program for leadership. A program of Academic Competitions, public-speaking initiatives, and a focus on sports and wellbeing rounds out education globally.
