Open enrollment 2027–2028. The admissions process is organized into two tracks: Early Years and Transfer. Early Years steps: 1. The Admissions team will acknowledge receipt and provide the link to the online application platform. 2. After receiving the reply containing the link, complete the applicant's information in the virtual platform, making sure all fields are filled accurately and required documents are attached. The platform will guide you to the next step. 3. The payment confirms your submission and is recorded by Admissions. 4. Admissions will inform you of the interview date. You will receive notice of the interview with the Headmistress or Admissions staff. 5. If your daughter is accepted, a welcome email will be sent and an interview with the Headmistress will be scheduled. This marks the final step of the Early Years admissions. Documents required to apply for Early Years include: birth certificate; baptismal certificate; reference letter from the nursery; proof of non-debt from the nursery; applicant photo; family photo; applicant's National ID; National IDs of both parents; identity card/passport (for foreigners); employment contract or work certificate (for foreigners); marriage certificate of the parents; progress record from the applicant's last nursery. Note: Admissions depends on vacancies. If a family has connections within the school community, letters of recommendation are requested (per the model Admissions sends). Admissions decisions and vacancy availability are determined by the established limits. Steps to apply through Transfer: 1. 2. After receiving the reply containing the link, complete the applicant's information in the virtual platform. 3. 4. Admissions will inform you of the interview date and/or academic evaluations. 5. If accepted, a welcome email will be sent and an interview with the Headmistress will be scheduled. Documents required to apply through transfer include: birth certificate; baptismal certificate; last three report cards of the applicant; proof of non-debt from the school they are coming from; applicant photo; family photo; applicant's National ID; National IDs of both parents; marriage certificate; identity card/passport; employment contract or work certificate. Note: In the transfer process, Admissions will provide letters of recommendation; transfers depend on vacancies. Number of vacancies: There is a limited number of vacancies that varies by grade. Applicants will be accepted only if the established limit has not been exceeded. Evaluation criteria include: whether the family is already part of the Villa Caritas or San Pedro educational community; whether the applicant is the daughter of an alumna or alumnus; delivery order of the complete admission file; specific interest in a Catholic educational project; letters of introduction from two parents or members of the educational community; references from the nursery or previous school regarding family involvement; attendance to admission or transfer activities; and the ability to honor financial commitments. Tuition fees and payments: Level by level, tuition is: Early Years First Steps S/ 1,570; Nursery S/ 1,960; Pre-Kindergarten S/ 2,160; Kindergarten S/ 2,630; Elementary 1st and 2nd S/ 3,250; Elementary/Middle/High School 3rd and 10th S/ 3,290; International Baccalaureate Diploma Program 11th and 12th S/ 3,370. The annual cost is divided into one matriculation fee and ten tuition payments made from March to December. Sibling discounts do not apply to the matriculation fee. From Kindergarten through 11th grade, tuition includes: notebooks, school supplies, agenda, book bank, reading plan, field trips and scheduled tours within the city, Cambridge International Examination fees (CIE), and choir and theater workshops. The school offers an optional canteen service; food is not included in the tuition. One-time entrance fee in force in 2026: First Steps and Nursery USD 9,500; Pre-Kindergarten to 2nd grade USD 10,000; Transfer in 3rd and 4th grades USD 8,000; Transfer from 5th to 8th grade USD 7,000; Transfer from 9th to 11th grade USD 6,500; Alumni's daughter USD 5,000; Twins USD 15,000; Triplets USD 20,000. Foreigners and/or diplomats may choose to pay the entrance fee in full or finance it at USD 2,000 per daughter per year until year three, when the balance is due (a copy of the employment contract or a company letter is required). Note: The vacancy reservation is made by paying the entrance fee in the first week after the delivery of the welcome letter; vacancies not reserved within the indicated deadline will be allocated to the next candidate on the waiting list. Frequently asked questions address the age to apply; the desirability of letters of recommendation; the tuition-discount schedule for multiple daughters; whether foreign families have vacancies; whether there is admission priority for sisters and alumnae; whether lunch is included.
There is a waiting list mechanism. There is a limited number of vacancies that varies by grade, and the vacancy is reserved by paying the entrance fee in the first week after the welcome letter. Vacancies not reserved within the indicated deadline are allocated to the next candidate on the waiting list. This waiting-list-based approach is noted in the admissions page.
Villa Caritas School is a private Catholic girls' school in Peru that welcomes students from age 1 to 18 and partners with its sister school San Pedro. It offers a bespoke curriculum alongside the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and Cambridge IGCSE, with English as the language of instruction from Early Years and about 80% of classes taught in English. From grade 3, students study a third language, with German or French; the school provides DELF for French and Sprachdiplom for German. Cambridge ESOL assessments (YLE, PET, FCE) are part of the progression, culminating in IGCSE English B HL. The 148-acre campus hosts MakerSpace for STEAM projects, extensive sports facilities, and an Arts Program featuring film, visual arts, music, and theatre. An annual film is produced with the University of Lima, and students undertake study trips and solidarity activities. The Catholic identity and academic standards underpin a truly holistic, worldwide education.
