Introduction

Colegio Villa María is a private Catholic all-girls school in Peru delivering the IB Diploma Programme for students aged 3 to 17. Admissions

Admissions

1. Pre-enrollment: Complete pre-enrollment by entering the admission link. After finishing the pre-enrollment, the registered email receives instructions with a username and password to access the Admission portal (check spam). This starts the formal admissions process. The Admission portal guides the subsequent steps of the application.

2. Admission portal access: With the data received, log in to the Admission portal to complete the information and upload photos of the parents and the applicant. Ensure the photos meet the platform's requirements. The information uploaded at this stage is used for the next steps in the admissions process. The portal stores all submitted data for processing.

3. Payment of the Admission Right: Make the online payment of the Admission Right: 300 soles using any card through the platform's Pago Efectivo option. The amount is non-transferable and non-refundable. The payment confirms the applicant's eligibility to continue with the process. The system confirms the payment and allows you to proceed to upload the required documents.

4. Upload documents: After payment, upload the documents requested in the requirements. These documents are reviewed as part of the admissions process. The portal will indicate if additional information is needed. The Admissions team will inform you by email of the next steps.

5. Interview: The school will inform by email the date and time of the interview with the Admission Committee. It is mandatory for both parents to attend the meeting in order to secure a place. The interview is a key step in determining admission.

6. Evaluations: The admission process for Primary (from second grade) and Secondary includes two types of evaluation: an academic evaluation and a psychological evaluation. The academic evaluation includes the areas of Communication, Mathematics, and English. The psychological evaluation consists of an interview with the applicant to assess socio-emotional level, logical reasoning, numerical and verbal abilities.

Scholarships

Becas para deportistas destacadas (scholarships for outstanding athletes): The school offers a sports scholarship to any enrolled student, provided she meets the necessary requirements. Scholarships are applied in the month immediately after the student meets the requirements. Requisites include presenting a current IPD-issued athlete certificate (no older than 6 months), a certificate of no disciplinary sanctions or IPD investigations, being in the upper middle level, and being up to date on tuition payments. Scholarships for outstanding athletes begin in the second year of studies and require exemplary conduct in school and in training or competitions. Benefits include academic advantages (reprogramming of missed evaluations, teacher support to catch up, justification of absences for competitions) and economic advantages (exemption from the fee for the scholarship evaluation and a 10% scholarship).
