Introduction

Markham College is a long-established bilingual Peruvian international school in Lima with a British heritage. It serves ages 3 to 18 across two campuses, Monterrico and San Antonio, including a newly opened Primary campus in Monterrico shared with Early Years. The curriculum combines IB PYP, Cambridge IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme. In Lower School English and Spanish are taught across subjects in a dual-language programme; Primary follows a UK English Curriculum with Talk for Writing, and Middle School aligns with the UK national framework; Secondary offers 21 IGCSE subjects and 41 IB subjects (19 at Higher Level). Markham is a Round Square member with international exchanges. The Outdoor Education Programme, Service Learning and a wide arts and sports offering enrich learning. Facilities include biology, chemistry and physics labs, three D&T workshops, an Arts Building and a full Upper School library, plus performance and sports spaces. The Music Programme is an instrumental hub and a London College of Music recognised centre.
