Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

The school considers parents to be the first educators of their children and the family as the primary setting for the formation and development of the person. Therefore, the admissions process is conducted taking into account the parents' commitment to their children's education, the concrete means they are willing to provide, and the school's ability to respond to their expectations and needs. Applications are accepted for all levels (Preschool, Lower School, and Upper School) at any time during the year, provided there is a vacancy available, and applications are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. If the number of applicants exceeds the available vacancies, the admission criteria from the New Student Admission Policy apply, including: 1. Compatibility of the applying family with the school's axiological line, its educational proposal, and its institutional norms and commitments (Profile of the parent/guardian, mission, vision); 2) Parents' commitment to the holistic development of their children; 3) Ability to assume the financial commitment with MIC; 4) Children of employees and applicants who have siblings studying at MIC have priority for a vacancy, provided the family's bond with the school demonstrates fulfillment of commitments and a positive disposition toward the school's educational approach and its members; 5) Adequate balance between boys and girls in the classroom.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Special discounts: MIC offers a 50% discount on the monthly fees for the oldest sibling in families with three or more children enrolled at the school. This discount does not apply to the enrollment fee. A timely-payment discount of S/.50.00 is offered for each monthly installment paid before the due date, according to the schedule; this discount does not apply to the enrollment fee.
