Facilities

Resources and spaces that support learning and development

Facilities Overview

MIC Laboratory is a multifunctional laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art instruments where students develop their scientific thinking through the physical world and environmental sustainability. Lower and Upper School students conduct practical science classes (chemistry, physics, biology) in a hands-on, experiential way. The MIC Library is a modern two-story facility with books in Spanish, English, German, and French; it provides resources to develop students' inquiry across three levels. The first floor houses classical and contemporary literature, comics, children's books, research texts, dictionaries, magazines, bibliographies, and art/history books, along with educational media. The second floor houses the school's media center used by students and teachers for group work and ongoing research within courses.

Sports Facilities

Through the Physical Education program and extracurricular workshops such as athletics, basketball, soccer, and volleyball, we develop the physical abilities of each student. We also have teams in athletics, soccer, basketball, swimming, and volleyball and a cheerleading squad that represent the school in local, regional, and national championships. These workshops give students the opportunity to practice the sport of their choice and discover their athletic abilities. Students who participate in developmental sports workshops have the opportunity to demonstrate their learning through friendly matches on campus or hosted by other schools or clubs. During the school year, sports coordinators and specialized coaches organize COPA MIC tournaments in various categories for girls and boys.
