MIC implements a socio-emotional learning curriculum as part of its holistic education. The Learning Support team, led by the Head of Wellbeing for different levels, delivers SEL through tutoring, guidance, and a student-support program. The school operates a Wellbeing Committee to plan, implement, and evaluate tutoring, guidance, and school climate, including prevention and timely response to issues affecting student wellbeing. Disciplina Positiva informs classroom management to promote autonomy, responsibility, and respectful relationships. The SEL program is integrated with Montessori and IB philosophies, with active involvement of families in wellbeing initiatives.
MIC provides Learning Support and inclusion initiatives to meet diverse needs. The Learning Support area handles orientation, counseling, and psychopedagogical intervention, and monitors plans to support students, ensuring inclusion and appropriate accommodations. The Head of Wellbeing for Primary and Lower School and the Head of Student Wellbeing for Upper School oversee these processes, with inclusion and psychopedagogical support integrated into the school's governance. The school implements an Acompañamiento Estudiantil program to assist adaptation and integration according to neurodevelopmental needs. The Plan de Acción Tutorial aligns with MINEDU standards and IB attributes to strengthen learning and socio-emotional development, with collaboration among families and staff to minimize barriers to access and achievement.

MIC follows safeguarding and anti-violence guidelines, with a Wellbeing Management Committee responsible for prevention and timely response to violence and rights violations, in coordination with public authorities as appropriate. The school maintains a Registro de Incidencias (Incidents Register) to document concerns and incidents. It uses the SíseVe platform protocols for reporting and monitoring, and adheres to MINEDU Lineamientos for convivencia and violence prevention. Physical punishment or humiliating treatment is not permitted within MIC. The Reglamento Interno outlines procedures for addressing serious violations, including family involvement, intervention plans, and ongoing monitoring to ensure student safety and wellbeing.
