Early Years use interest centres including art, dramatic play, block building, manipulative, sensory, Science, Math and Language. Through play and self-initiated learning, the curriculum weaves across subject areas through themes and inquiry-based learning. Primary School includes Pilipino (Philippine culture classes) focusing on language and the cultural heritage of the Philippines. The BEIS curriculum follows the Common Core State Standards for Math and Language Arts to support learners on a global pathway.
Art is present in Early Years as a core part of the interest centres, and art is integrated with other lessons across the year. Students develop skills in document creation, design, PowerPoint presentations and video production. Art topics and projects are incorporated throughout the curriculum, including in Grade 4 and 5 where Art appears as a dedicated subject and is also woven into other lessons.
Pilipino (Philippine culture classes) focus on the language and cultural heritage of the Philippines. Kulturang Pilipino is part of the core curriculum in Grades 4 and 5. Filipino language is integrated into weekly subjects across grades, supporting multilingual learning.
The gymnasium hosts PE classes and a range of team sports, including volleyball, badminton, football and basketball. Students participate in court games and intramurals, with social spaces such as playgrounds and reading areas used during breaks.
BEIS uses BEIS House Teams with White Tigers, Blue Rays and Golden Phoenix, including points and monthly winners to foster teamwork and leadership among students. House competition supports collaboration and school spirit. The school also hosts PTA functions to engage families in the BEIS community.
A BEIS gymnasium serves as the PE facility and a venue for school sports and intramurals. Outdoor play areas and playgrounds provide space for physical activity and social interaction. Breaks and lunchtime encourage movement and social well-being within a supportive campus environment.
Boracay European International School (BEIS) is a non-profit, co-educational international school on Boracay Island. It teaches English as the language of instruction and serves children aged 3 to 14 through Nursery to Grade 8. BEIS offers the American Curriculum alongside Cambridge Secondary programmes, aligning with a pathway. The school was founded in 2008 by parents to serve Boracay's diverse nationalities and is fully accredited by Philippines Department of Education for elementary and secondary education. It operates in partnership with the German European School Manila, which holds IB World School accreditation to support an international framework. The campus comprises 10 classrooms, an Information and Communications Technology lab with 15 computers, a multipurpose gymnasium and playgrounds, and an air‑conditioned school bus. The curriculum emphasizes inquiry‑based learning, Math and Language Arts, and Pilipino language and culture.
