Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

Step 1 — Completion of the File. Begin by submitting the application form in person at the Registrar/Accounting Office and paying the combined application and testing fee of Php 2,500 to the Cashier. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, and it is due at the time you submit the application form. After payment, present the official receipt and obtain the completed application form from the Registrar.

Step 2 — Prepare and submit required documents. Provide the completed application form with three 2x2 recent color photographs, the completed student medical record (FIS form), a photocopy of the PSA/NSO birth certificate (original may be requested for authentication), and a photocopy of the latest report card (Form 138) with authentication as needed. Include a certificate of good moral character or letters of recommendation from the Principal, teacher, and guidance counselor in sealed envelopes signed at the flap. Foreign students must also provide a photocopy of Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR), the Original Special Study Permit (SSP) from the Bureau of Immigration, and a photocopy of the passport. Note that documents are not returned after admission.

Step 3 — Testing and interview. Test schedules run Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–12:00 NN and 1:00 PM–3:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM–12:00 NN; testing takes place in the Library. Arrive at least 15 minutes before the exam and bring the testing fee receipt. Following the exam, an interview with the applicant and parent/guardian is conducted, and results are released with a certificate of acceptance signed by the Principal for accepted applicants.

Step 4 — Admissions decision and waitlist/denial options. Accepted applicants are notified in writing and must settle a non-refundable reservation fee to secure a slot. Applicants who pass the tests but must wait due to slot limitations are placed on the official waitlist and may pay a refundable slot reservation fee to remain on the list for up to one academic year; slots will be allocated as they become available, and parents are notified of status updates. Applicants who do not meet admission requirements may be denied, with an option to appeal once and submit additional documents for reconsideration.

Step 5 — Enrollment requirements. Upon formal enrollment, submit the Grade School Transcript of Records (Form 137) and the Grade School Diploma (certified true copy). Pay a non-refundable reservation fee of Php 50,000. Forms related to high school admissions can be downloaded from the site. The school's 2025–2026 admissions cycle is currently open for inquiry and enrollment.

Waitlist

Fountain International School operates a waitlist system. Applicants who have passed the admissions tests/interviews and are approved for admission but cannot be offered an immediate slot may be placed on the official waitlist. Parents may pay a refundable slot reservation fee to be placed on the waitlist, and the student's name remains on the list for up to one academic year until slots become available or the application is withdrawn. When a slot is available, the Admissions Committee will decide which applicants to admit to support class growth, and parents will be notified of the status of their waitlisted child.
