Language Provision

Languages taught include English and Filipino. The Filipino subject emphasizes using Filipino in writing and speech and includes literature, culture, and language skills. Foreign students participate in Special Filipino classes with alternating English and Filipino. The Mother Tongue program (Grades 1-3) is taught across the subject areas of Filipino, Araling Panlipunan, Reading, and Language to strengthen language use.

Bilingual Teaching

Yes. GCF-ICS includes bilingual elements in its Grade School program. Foreign students take a combined Special Filipino class taught in alternating English and Filipino. Special Social Studies is designed for foreign students and uses English as the medium of instruction. Mother Tongue is taught and assessed across Grades 1 to 3 to strengthen the use of the Filipino language.

Immersion Programs

GCF-ICS offers immersion-like language experiences for foreign students through language-focused classes. A combined Special Filipino class is taught in alternating English and Filipino to support non-native speakers. Special Social Studies is designed for foreign students and is taught in English; it exposes students to Philippine civics, geography, and history in an English-language context. GCF International Christian School is a faith-based institution located in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, operating from the GCF Building on Ruby and Garnet Roads. It serves Preschool through Senior High, following the DepEd K-12 Basic Education Curriculum across all levels, with Senior High offering strands in ABM, HUMSS, and STEM.
