GCF-ICS presents itself as a Christ-centered community of life-long learners who aim to transform society. The school's vision is stated as a Christ-centered community of life-long learners who help transform society, and its home church relationship with Greenhills Christian Fellowship connects worship, service, and discipleship to student life. A full-time chaplain coordinates the Christian Living curriculum and discipleship programs in collaboration with the Executive Director and the Office of Student Affairs, and chapel services are integrated into the school day. The Office of Student Affairs oversees extra-curricular activities, while family and parent involvement is facilitated through channels such as Parent Relations and Family Connect, along with formal school organizations like the PTA and the Council of Stewards.
The GCF-ICS PTA exists as a formal body for parent involvement and is listed among the school organizations; inquiries to the PTA can be directed to ptagcfics@gmail.com, and the PTA maintains a presence via the school's networks such as the gcficspta Facebook page. The PTA works in coordination with the Council of Stewards and other student bodies, including the student council and publications like The Owl Pamphlet. In 2024 the GCF-ICS Council of Stewards organized High School Night 2024 for upper-grade students, demonstrating ongoing parent-student engagement in social and spiritual life. In 2025 the ICS PTA organized fundraising events such as the Spring Extravaganza, a fundraising evening supported through Givebutter, reflecting active parental participation in school activities. The PTA also participates in family-oriented events and communications through the school's Family Connect channels and the ongoing publication and distribution of PTA-related updates.
