Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
The Lycée Français de Manille uses a dress code rather than a fixed school uniform. The dress code allows clothing to be adapted to the Philippines climate while remaining appropriate for the school. For outings, students may be asked to wear the LFM T-shirt, and appropriate sportswear is required for physical education.
The school runs on-site meals prepared daily by Kitchen City and distributed at lunch to ensure food safety and balanced nutrition. Students may bring a lunch box, though this is not recommended, especially in the early years; in Elementary, students must be able to use a microwave, and an insulated lunch box is required in all cases. For older students (Grade 6 to Terminale), a Kitchen City prepaid meal card is available, and online meal pre-orders are required for TPS through CM2; there are dedicated online portals for ordering and for card reloading. For assistance, there are specific contact numbers for cafeteria support.
LFM is an AEFE-conventioned French international school. It is governed by the Association des Parents d'Élèves (APE) as the school's managing body, supported by a Comité de Gestion and an Assemblée Générale that vote major decisions. The Eurocampus is jointly governed with the German European School Manila (GESM) through the Joint Advisory Committee (JAC). The essential governance bodies for pedagogy and daily operation are the Conseil d'établissement and the Conseil d'école; AEFE affiliation and these governance structures frame the school's oversight.
The Lycée Français de Manille (LFM) is a French international school located on the Eurocampus in Parañaque, south of Metro Manila, on a 2-hectare site shared with the German European School Manila. The campus includes 25 classrooms, a 170 m2 library, an auditorium, a computer room, two science laboratories, a 100 m2 cafeteria, and an infirmary, plus sport facilities such as two swimming pools, a football field, a gym, and multiple outdoor play areas and a running track. LFM offers two pathways: a traditional European curriculum and an American International Section (AIS) that provides bilingual English instruction and North American culture from CP to the French International Baccalaureate (BFI) in Première and Terminale. Most teaching is in French, with English language support and strong English immersion in AIS. The school serves around 320 students from about 38 nationalities and is AEFE-affiliated. The campus emphasizes sports, sustainable development, and international higher education opportunities.
