History

Nord Anglia International School Manila opened in 2012 as a private British international school in Manila. The campus grew to around 250 students from more than 30 nationalities. In 2017 the school joined the Nord Anglia Education family, aligning with its global network and programmes. Joining NAE brought access to world-leading education technology and collaborations with The Juilliard School, MIT, and UNICEF. It is part of the Nord Anglia Education family, reflecting its governance under the international group.

Community

NAIS Manila is a warm, caring, and family-oriented community with students from more than 30 nationalities. Students engage in local trips around Manila to learn Filipino history and culture, and participate in global projects through Nord Anglia's Global Campus with peers in 32 countries. A house system and a range of co-curricular activities support inclusion and opportunities for friendly competition. The school emphasizes global citizenship and well-being as part of its everyday culture.

Parent-Teacher Association

The Barkada Group is the parent-led association at NAIS Manila. Barkada coordinates social events and newcomer support, including the Christmas and Summer Fairs and services to help new families settle into the school and Manila. Parents are invited to participate in regular activities such as coffee mornings, picnics, one-to-one parent-teacher meetings, and open class events. There are hands-on parent-student workshops in drama and STEAM that involve families in learning alongside their children. The PTA supports student-led outreach and fundraising initiatives, including December shoebox drives for a local paediatric centre and ShelterBox fundraising through fairs and talent shows, reflecting the Nord Anglia network's broader charity activities. The Global Campus and Nord Anglia community provide opportunities for cross-border parent involvement and collaboration across 32 countries.

Nord Anglia International School Manila (NAIS Manila) is a private British international school in the Bay Area of Paranaque City, Metro Manila. It opened in 2012 and serves students aged 2–18 across Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form, with around 250 students from more than 30 nationalities and an average class size of about 18. The curriculum is based on the English National Curriculum from Early Years through to Sixth Form, with IGCSEs in the secondary phase and A‑levels in the sixth form. NAIS Manila emphasises learning in English and incorporates exclusive Nord Anglia collaborations with MIT, The Juilliard School and UNICEF to enrich the curriculum. Mandarin is taught as a subject, with daily Mandarin lessons and an Advanced Chinese Programme. The campus features facilities such as an outdoor pool, Astroturf pitch, gym, a theatre and two science labs, plus a Bring Your Own Device programme and digital learning platforms. Enrichment is compulsory, with students choosing two clubs per term; the Barkada parent group supports community life, and a school bus service operates to multiple areas. The school is located about 15 minutes from Manila's international airport and is accessible by car, metro, and school bus.
