Reedley International School was founded in 1999 by Nellie Aquino-Ong. The name honors Reedley College in California, reflecting the mentorship that shaped its founder's education. In 2000, Reedley opened its high school program in Quezon City; in 2001 it began accepting Grade School students and moved to a second location in Pasig City. In 2006 the school relocated to a larger facility in Libis, Quezon City, and in 2013 it earned international accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Reedley operates as a private, non-sectarian, non-traditional, co-educational international school in Metro Manila, with Head of School René MacQuillin leading the institution as of 2025.
Reedley's community includes students from diverse nationalities and a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning and character development, guided by the CASEL framework and programs such as Life Skills, Life Coaching, and Anti-Bullying. Reedley International School is a private, non-sectarian, co-educational K-12 international school located in Pasig City, Metro Manila, on J. Cruz Street in Barangay Ugong. Founded in 1999, RIS occupies an eight-storey building with a 10,000 square meter floor area designed for effective learning. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and is a regular member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) and East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS); it is also a Certified School of Character. RIS follows an international academic curriculum that blends Singaporean, American, and Filipino approaches, aligned with DepEd regulations. In Mathematics and Science, Singaporean standards guide the program, while Language Arts and Social Studies follow American standards. The Senior High School offers four strands: ABM, HUMSS, GAS, and STEM; Advanced Placement (AP) courses are available to enhance college readiness.
