1. Complete the online application form. After submission, the Admissions Team will contact you to begin the admissions process. The team is multilingual and can assist in English, Polish, Italian, and Spanish. This initial contact sets up the next steps in your child's enrollment.
2. Phone call: A member of the Admissions Team will contact you by phone to schedule a virtual meeting. The call initiates the next phase of the process and clarifies availability. You will receive details about the meeting arrangement in advance. The Admissions Team is available to address early questions during this call.
3. Confirmation email and invitation: The Admissions Team will send a confirmation email and an invitation for a Teams meeting. The message includes the scheduled date and time, along with what to expect during the meeting. It confirms that you are moving forward in the admissions process. You can review any documents or questions ahead of the meeting in this email.
4. Video call: The Admissions Manager will meet you on Teams to share information about ASW and discuss program options. Questions you have will be answered, and practical details will be reviewed. This session helps you understand ASW's programs, campus life, and next steps. You may ask about curriculum, schedules, and supports during this call.
5. School tour: If you would like an in-person visit, a school tour can be arranged at a convenient time. Tours are offered on weekdays, Monday through Friday. The tour provides an up-close view of classrooms, facilities, and daily routines. It is an opportunity to ask questions while experiencing the school environment.
6. Assessment: If you wish to proceed with the application, the Admissions Team will organize an assessment with the appropriate class coordinator. The assessment will help determine placement and readiness for the chosen program. You will receive a report from the assessment within 48 hours. The report informs the next enrollment decision.
7. Confirmation by parents: If you decide to confirm enrollment, email the required documents to the Admissions Team and finalize the admissions process. The Admissions Team remains available to answer questions and provide guidance during this final stage. Upon receipt of documents, enrollment will be confirmed and start dates arranged.
American School of Wrocław is a private, bilingual school serving ages 1 through 18, with two campuses supporting age-appropriate learning. The curriculum blends the American Core Knowledge Curriculum with elements of the Polish national system, enhanced by an international component. English and Polish are treated as equal languages, guiding students to navigate between cultures while developing multilingual skills. ASW offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for the upper grades, alongside the Middle Years Programme. The IB DP prepares students for higher education through six subjects and the core components Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and CAS. The school is part of the International Schools Partnership. About 250 students from over 20 nationalities form a diverse, close-knit community across two campuses: Partynicka for Nursery to Grade 5 and South Campus for Grades 6–12. Facilities include classrooms, science labs, language workshops, libraries, art studios, outdoor spaces, and athletic facilities on Partynicka campus.
