Uniform Requirement

Uniform consists of BISG-branded navy jumpers or cardigans and a plain white polo shirt or shirt with the BISG logo, paired with navy, gray, or black skirts, shorts, or trousers (Preschool may wear leggings or tracksuit bottoms). All top garments must bear the BISG logo, embroidered or ironed on; logos are available from the school office. PE kit includes a white plain T-shirt, dark shorts or tracksuit trousers, and trainers with non-marking soles; indoor shoes with light soles are required.

Food Options

Lunches are provided daily by an external catering company and served at lunchtime. The catering offers meat-based and vegetarian dishes. Parents can order meals through ZamówPosiłek.pl, with options to order for the whole week or individual days; students who do not use the catering service can bring their own food.

Governance and Ownership

The school is owned by British International School PL Sp. z o.o., a private limited company in Poland. The leadership is headed by a CEO, with a Principal/CEO and a Senior Leadership Team overseeing teaching and learning, administration, welfare, and support services.

British International School Gdańsk (BISG) educates children aged 3 to 18 across three eco-friendly campuses. The school provides English-medium instruction with Polish requirements, applying a progression from English Early Years Foundation Stage, through IPC in primary, IMYC in middle years, a fully bilingual Polish National Curriculum in lower secondary, to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in the final two years. Core subjects are taught by specialists; Polish and Polish as a Foreign Language support are provided, with EAL and SEN assistance. Facilities include a fully equipped ICT suite, a 3D printer, laptops and tablets, a BISG Theatre, solar panels and an air-quality sensor. Enrichment spans daily clubs, language trips to Spain, France and Germany, theatre productions, MUN, STEM fairs and community service. BISG hosts students from over 40 nationalities and emphasizes inquiry-led, cross-curricular projects and the DP core: TOK, CAS and Extended Essay.
