Billing schedule and payment terms

- Tuition is structured as 10 monthly payments covering September to June (amounts above are the monthly instalments). Resource and one-off fees are billed as noted below. Invoices are issued and payment instructions are provided by the school's finance/accounting team. Resource fees are payable in August or on joining the school.

One-off / additional compulsory fees

- Resource fee (general): PLN 2,500 per student, payable in August or on joining the school.

- Resource fee (secondary): PLN 3,500 per secondary student, payable in August or on joining the school.

- Registration / enrolment fee: PLN 2,000 per new child (paid at registration; invoice issued).

- IB Diploma examination charges (additional, charged to parents for students taking DP assessments): EUR 90 per subject and EUR 120 for the Core, plus postage/packing; invoices for these exams are issued to Class 12 students in September. These charges are set by the IB organisation and are separate from tuition.

Other costs

- Uniform: the school operates a uniform policy. School emblem badges are available through the school and cost PLN 10 per stitched-on emblem or PLN 7 per iron-on emblem; this cost is added to the next invoice. Parents may purchase other uniform items independently or order through the school when available.

- Meals: hot lunches are available via an external catering company and are ordered through the online platform ZamówPosiłek.pl. Meal charges are handled separately via that ordering platform.

- Extra-curricular activities and trips (clubs, language trips, residential trips, camps, musical productions, exam preparation courses, etc.) are offered; participation or residential trips typically incur additional charges which are invoiced or billed separately as appropriate.

Discounts

- Sibling discount: a flat 5% discount applies for the 2nd child, 3rd child and 4th child.

Boarding

- The school operates as a day school; boarding facilities are not provided. No boarding fees apply.

Refund information (applicable items)

- Registration fee refund: the registration fee (PLN 2,000) is refundable if the child does not secure a place or if parents withdraw from the waiting list prior to being offered a place.

Fee payment options and invoicing

- Invoices are issued by the school's finance/accounting team for registration, resource fees, tuition instalments and any additional charges (IB exam invoices are issued to Class 12 in September). Payment instructions and the required details for each invoice are provided by the school accountant/finance office with the invoice. Meal orders are paid through the external meal-ordering platform. Uniform emblem charges are added to the school invoice.

British International School Gdańsk (BISG) educates children aged 3 to 18 across three eco-friendly campuses. The school provides English-medium instruction with Polish requirements, applying a progression from English Early Years Foundation Stage, through IPC in primary, IMYC in middle years, a fully bilingual Polish National Curriculum in lower secondary, to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in the final two years. Core subjects are taught by specialists; Polish and Polish as a Foreign Language support are provided, with EAL and SEN assistance. Facilities include a fully equipped ICT suite, a 3D printer, laptops and tablets, a BISG Theatre, solar panels and an air-quality sensor. Enrichment spans daily clubs, language trips to Spain, France and Germany, theatre productions, MUN, STEM fairs and community service. BISG hosts students from over 40 nationalities and emphasizes inquiry-led, cross-curricular projects and the DP core: TOK, CAS and Extended Essay.
