The school is chartered by The British International School of the University of Łódź Ltd. It is owned by Foundation of the University of Łódź, which the University of Łódź founded. The Company operates through the Shareholders Meeting, the Supervisory Board, and the Management Board.
The British International School of the University of Łódź (BISUL) is a British international school in Łódź, Poland, serving ages 2 to 18. It was established in 2013 when local entrepreneurs and the University of Łódź joined forces to create a British-style education, with the university's Foundation as owner. The school offers a Cambridge Pathway and the IB Diploma Programme, with Cambridge IGCSE in secondary years and the IB DP for ages 16 to 19. The curriculum is delivered in English and follows the English National Curriculum framework, including Cambridge Nursery and Reception, Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Secondary, complemented by the IB Diploma Programme. BISUL is accredited by Cambridge International, COBIS, the International Baccalaureate, and the Polish Ministry of National Education. The campus on Fabryczna 4 houses Foundation, Primary and Secondary sections with smartboards, projectors and laptops. Facilities include a gym, science classrooms, EYFS programme with English, Polish and Spanish.
