Academic and Intellectual

The Complex of Silesian International Schools Katowice offers education through two internationally recognized programmes: the Cambridge International Examinations Programme and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The Cambridge programme includes Primary, Checkpoint, and IGCSE stages and the school has offered Cambridge qualifications since 2007. The IB Diploma Programme is available in the upper school and has been offered alongside the Cambridge programme since 2007. The Foundation Programme develops language skills and prepares students for IGCSE and IB groups, with all lessons conducted in English.

Arts is taught as part of the Foundation Programme.

Cultural and Language

English is the language of instruction. Polish for foreigners is taught as part of the Foundation Programme. The school operates in an international and multicultural environment.

Located in Katowice, Poland, The Complex of Silesian International Schools offers education from preschool through upper secondary for students aged 3 to 18. The school provides parallel pathways in Cambridge and the International Baccalaureate, giving families flexible options to suit individual goals. The Preschool (ages 3+) is English-taught and introduces learners to Cambridge International Examinations concepts through play. Cambridge Primary Programme (ages 5-11) develops English, mathematics and science with year-by-year objectives, while Cambridge Secondary 1 Programme (ages 11-14) prepares students for IGCSE or O Level and provides progress records. Cambridge IGCSE Programme (ages 14-15) offers a broad range of subjects and serves as a foundation for higher level courses. IB Diploma Programme (ages 16-19) is a two-year pathway with a PRE-DP year and global recognition.
