The school implements six educational programs: American Common Core, British National Curriculum (EYFS), Finnish National Curriculum, Programme d'Enseignement de l'Ecole Maternelle, Polish National Curriculum, and the PYP – Primary Years Programme. The standards for each subject are selected to meet high benchmarks, and the curriculum and topics are shared across the three languages taught. From 2025, ITSC Primary School in Cracow opens first grade within the primary school section to provide education in an international environment. English, Polish and French are taught through a language-immersive approach.
The school community is a mix of origins and cultures, and we educate in tolerance of cultures, backgrounds, religions and ways of life. The school teaches in English, Polish and French, with bilingualism and a strong command of English and French. Language immersion supports openness to the world and helps students engage with diverse communities.
Learning languages occurs through joyful play and everyday activities, with a holistic approach that supports the child's social and emotional development. The nursery and preschool include a playground, cloakroom and playroom to facilitate safe social interaction and active learning. A sample three-language daily schedule demonstrates activities in English, Polish and French across the day.
The ITSC faculty comprises native-speaking teachers who are qualified to teach nursery, pre-school and primary levels. The staff includes teachers from several countries, including Senegal, Poland, Kenya, the Philippines, France and the USA. Administration and management are led by named staff such as Bernarda, Izabela, Anna and Xavier.
The program emphasizes a holistic approach that combines language learning with social adaptation, emotional and physical development. Learning takes place in a safe environment with experienced teachers who ensure each child feels secure and engaged. Outdoor play, a central Cracow location and daily routines including meals and rest periods support overall well-being.
Located in the center of Krakow, the International Trilingual School of Cracow (ITSC) offers a tri-lingual early-childhood and primary education path for children aged 1 to 7. Founded in 2018, building on the experience of the International Trilingual School of Warsaw, ITSC Cracow provides nursery, preschool and primary schooling with immersion in English, French and Polish.
