The Pines Foundation is an offshoot of PINES. It governs projects connected with Pines Forest School and runs a range of educational and community initiatives in Warsaw, including forest school activities and refugee-support programs.
Pines Forest School in Poland blends British and Polish curricula within a forest learning model. The school operates in three areas: Pines Forest School, Pines Primary and Pines Foundation, serving ages 4 to 15. The core programme blends EYFS with British and Polish curriculum goals, with early years emphasising British targets and a progression toward stronger Polish study by Year 6 Polish Grade 5. Lessons are delivered in very small groups in Learning HUBs and outdoors in the forest, using hands-on experiences to bring subjects to life. The timetable supports literacy, maths, history, geography, science and phonics, plus enrichment such as art and design, woodwork, music, sport, cooking and photography. Language development is supported via CLIL in a bilingual/multilingual setting. Facilities include Learning HUBs with kitchenettes, toilets and showers, plus forest classroom environment, a tool area, wildlife habitats, a pond, a stream and gardens. The day runs 9:00–15:30, near Warsaw.
