Recruitment to Private High School Gaudium et Studium is open year-round. Information meetings are held regularly at the school building at 50M Św. Michała Street, Poznań, and online. Michała Street, 61-118 Poznań. For admission to classes 0 and 1, a preferred result is at least 8 on the 9-point Stanine scale from the 8th-grade exam, and an English entrance test is conducted for these classes. The admissions interview can be conducted online via Microsoft Teams this year; interviews for Polish candidates are conducted in Polish and interviews for foreign candidates in English. There is a 200 PLN application fee. All applicants have equal chances regardless of their previous school, though Gaudium et Studium students may experience a shortened admissions process due to access to their grades. Key dates provided indicate the list of qualified students will be announced by May 22, 2025, recruitment closes after submission of the primary school certificate and the 8th-grade exam result on July 6, 2025, and the admission list will be published on July 7, 2025. No waitlist exists; if a candidate is not admitted, they are not placed on a reserve list.
Scholarships up to 90% of tuition are offered to the best applicants, based on the candidate's certificate and the 8th-grade exam results.
Gaudium et Studium is a private English-language high school in Poznań, Poland, authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The school educates students aged 14 to 18 in classes of up to 20, with English-language instruction and support in Polish, German and Spanish. The IB curriculum requires students to study at least six subjects, three at Higher Level and three at Standard Level, preparing them for university applications in the USA and Europe. The campus occupies a modern high-school building with 800 m2 of dedicated space for students and 4,000 m2 of total facilities, including music studios, technical workshops, laboratories, computer labs, two gymnasia and a theatre. About 40 extracurricular activities span sports, music and dance, including after-school clubs such as Quiet Corner, Mind Gym, Screen World, Journeys of Imagination and Fresh-air Frolics, plus Project Weeks twice a year. The GeS Sport Academy and international exchanges further broaden opportunities.
