The school has an active Parent–Teacher Association that brings together parents and teachers to support learning and foster community. The Counseling Programme provides strong educational and social support for students in elementary and middle school. The Advisory Programme assigns a middle school advisor who acts as a student advocate and mentor, with a focus on academic, personal and social development; advisors meet with each grade for five minutes every morning and hold a weekly advisory session. The school is an IB World School, promoting international-mindedness and encouraging active participation in the school and wider community.

The Academic English (AE) programme supports learners for whom English is an additional language, with diverse language proficiency across the student population. Mother Tongue Support is valued, and instruction in students' native languages is considered highly valuable at WIS.

Wroclaw International School (WIS) offers a community-focused environment located on a purpose-built campus in the southern part of the city. As an authorized IB World School, it provides the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for children aged 4 to 11 and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for those aged 11 to 16. Learning is centered on inquiry-based methods where students are encouraged to connect different subject areas to real-world issues.A significant feature of the school is its "Wolves Athletic Program," which allows students to participate in inter-school sports competitions across Poland and Central Europe.
