Learners have 24/7 access to a learning platform and receive guidance from Course Managers, while studying in co-learning Hubs with Learning Coaches. The hybrid model combines online study with in-person Hub experiences across Portugal, including Leiria.
The Portuguese+ curriculum uses all learning materials and assessments in Portuguese; includes preparation for Exames Nacionais; meets requirements for direct entry to Portuguese universities. It is delivered within English-speaking Hubs, so Learners develop both Portuguese and English communication skills.
Hubs offer social and hobby opportunities through clubs and sports, and environmental initiatives. Hubs foster collaboration and a sense of belonging in a non-hierarchical environment. Learners manage their own schedules, including breaks and shared meals, supporting balance and well-being.
Hubs connect Learners with local internships, entrepreneurial projects, clubs, sports, environmental initiatives, and more. This provides real-world experiences and community engagement beyond academics.
Learning Coaches provide personalised guidance, and Course Managers deliver feedback. The Unique Pathway Degree Programmes are fast, flexible, and career-driven, with options in Business Management, Computing Science, Hospitality, Sports, and more. Learners gain a university diploma and real-world skills from anywhere.
Hubs are open Monday to Friday, typically from 08:00 to 18:00, and there is no summer shutdown. Hubs accommodate between 30–45 Learners per Hub, with one Learning Coach for every 15 Learners. Learners spend at least five hours per day at their Hub, with routines that include breaks and shared lunch periods to foster social connection and well-being.
Brave Generation Academy – Leiria is a hybrid school for learners aged 12 to 18. It combines online study with in-person Hub-based learning, with Leiria as a hub location. The school offers British, American, and Portuguese+ curricula, including Cambridge IGCSEs and A Levels, and bespoke pathway. Hubs provide co-learning spaces where learners work with Learning Coaches and Course Managers in a personalised, transformative learning model. Students have 24/7 access to a digital learning platform and study through a flexible timetable, balancing breaks and shared meals. The Portuguese+ curriculum is delivered in Portuguese, supports Exames Nacionais, and enables direct entry to Portuguese universities, while continuing to develop English skills in English-speaking Hubs. The Unique Pathway Degree Programmes offer fast, flexible, career-driven options in Business Management, Computing Science, Hospitality and Sports, with a university diploma earned. Hubs operate 08:00–18:00, serving 30–45 learners per Hub, with a 1:15 coach-to-learner ratio and community well-being.
