Academic and Intellectual

The school blends online study with in-person Hub experiences in a hybrid model. Learners have 24/7 access to a learning platform with guidance and feedback from Course Managers. Curricula offered include British (IGCSEs and A-Levels), American, and Portuguese+. These programmes are accredited and provide qualifications accepted by universities worldwide.

Cultural and Language

The Portuguese+ curriculum uses Portuguese for all learning materials and assessments. It includes preparation for and completion of Exames Nacionais and meets direct entry requirements to Portuguese universities, while also allowing admission to institutions worldwide. Delivered within English-speaking Hubs, learners develop both Portuguese and English communication skills.

Beyond academics, Hubs connect Learners with local internships, entrepreneurial projects, clubs, sports, environmental initiatives, and more. The hubs foster social interaction through shared routines, including opportunities for communal time and collaboration.

Unique Pathway Degree Programmes are fast, flexible, and career-driven, with options in Business Management, Computing Science, Hospitality, Sports, and more. Learners gain a university diploma and real-world skills from anywhere.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Hubs operate Monday to Friday, typically from 08:00 to 18:00, with no traditional summer shutdown to support year-round study. Learners have autonomy to manage their own schedules, including breaks and lunch, and a Learning Coach provides guidance at a ratio of one coach for every 15 Learners. The learning environment is designed to be comfortable and inclusive, with spaces that support focus and well-being. Madeira (Funchal) is listed as the Island location for Portugal.
