All students aged 3, 4, and 5 have English classes. From Nursery to 2 years old, weekly sessions in English, dance, music, and visual expression; from the age of 2, gymnastics is included. The teaching of English as a second language follows the Cambridge Assessment international curriculum, and the school is Cambridge Assessment English accredited. Portuguese Language is a core subject in the 1st Cycle, alongside Mathematics and Environmental Studies.

SEK/IES offers international programs with studies immersed in English and the host country's culture. The SEK/IES network provides exchanges in the UK and the USA, and a Real Madrid Foundation partnership offers a one-week immersive Madrid experience.
Cesário Verde International School Portugal offers nursery through 9th grade in central Lisbon as part of the SEK/IES International Education Systems. The school follows the Portuguese Ministry of Education framework while delivering a bilingual experience from Kindergarten and introducing a second language from an early age.
