CLIP – Oporto International School is located at Rua de Vila Nova, 1071, 4100-506 Porto, Portugal. Public transport options include bus lines 501 (to/from Porto's downtown and Matosinhos) and 205 (to/from Foz and Campanhã). The Parque Real Metro Station (Line A - Blue) is about a 12-minute walk from the campus.

Registration and application fees
- Pre-registration (non-refundable): €150 (paid on submission of the application form).
- Acceptance fee (paid on acceptance; non-refundable): €600.
- Annual registration fee (renewed yearly; non-refundable): €500.
- Deposit / guarantee (refundable subject to conditions): €1,000. A full refund of the deposit is given only if written withdrawal notice is submitted at least 60 days in advance; the school may retain part or all of the deposit for outstanding debts or insufficient notice. Bank transfer fees for reimbursements may be deducted.

Discounts
- Second child discount: 6% (applied on the 10-month tuition base).
- Third and subsequent children: 15% (applied on the 10-month tuition base).
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Monthly payments: due by the 5th business day of each month.
- Trimester payments: due by 5 September (1st), 5 December (2nd), and 5 March (3rd). Trimester payments receive a 2% discount.
- Single annual payment: must be made by 5 September to receive a 4% discount on the total.
- Overdue payments: late payments incur a 5% penalty plus default interest at 1% per month; persistent non-payment may lead to suspension of enrolment or denial of re-enrolment.
Boarding
- CLIP is a day school and does not operate boarding facilities; no boarding fees apply. Students must reside with their parent(s) or legal guardian.
Other costs and fees
- Canteen (lunch): pre-booked lunch €6/meal; same-day (unreserved) lunch €8/meal; lunch charges are invoiced monthly. Meal cancellations must be made before 09:00 on the same day.
- Supervised aftercare / late pick-up: supervised aftercare is available until 18:30; late supervised aftercare is charged at €5/hour and invoiced monthly.
- CLIPClubs / extracurricular activities: charged according to published price lists and invoiced monthly by the 5th working day of the month to which they relate.
- Special programmes: additional charges where applicable — Forum Foundation surcharge €250/month for participating students; Special Individual Support charged according to an agreed programme.
- Repeating students: students repeating Form 12 (up to 2 subjects) pay €350 per subject in addition to registration (monthly fee for repeating does not apply for these subjects).
- External exam fees: Cambridge IGCSE and A‑Level external exam fees are charged separately in accordance with the price list in effect.
- Textbooks: textbooks supplied by the school remain school property; replacement charges apply if books are not returned in reusable condition.
- Student accident insurance: compulsory and included in the annual registration fee.
Refund and withdrawal rules
- Pre-registration fee (€150): non-refundable.
- Acceptance fee and annual registration fee: non-refundable. Deposit/guarantee: refundable subject to 60 days' written withdrawal notice; the school may retain part or all of the deposit for outstanding debts or late notice; bank transfer fees for reimbursements may be deducted.
- Dropouts / withdrawals during a term: the parent or guardian is responsible for full payment of fees for the last term in which the student is enrolled and the last month of any extra-curricular activities; no discounts apply for partial attendance. If annual fees were paid and a refund is due for remaining full future terms, the corresponding amount will be reimbursed (subject to transfer charges).
Fee payment options
- Bank transfer is used for reimbursements and is the method referenced for refunds; related bank-transfer fees may be deducted from refunds. Invoices and the school's finance office provide the payment details used for all payments.
Notes on incidental charges
- Any administrative, banking or legal costs resulting from late or returned payments will be charged to the responsible party.
- Additional services (transport, specialist tuition, other third-party services) are charged separately if used and will appear on the relevant monthly invoice.

CLIP – Oporto International School is an international, non‑profit day school in Porto, Portugal, serving learners from ages 3 to 18. The school offers an international curriculum based on the English National Curriculum, with Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge A Levels as the assessment pathway, tailored to CLIP's local context.
